Due to my passion, diving, I have
had the great opportunity of
traveling the world. I have seen
some of the best diving
destinations, including the Red
Sea, where I have worked for
more than 8 years, diving from
the top, Sharm El Sheikh, down
to the Sudan. The Maldives was
my home for 4 years. In between I
spent a year in South East
Sulawesi & Indonesia. All beautiful
places, but they say, once you
have seen South Africa you will
always come back. The place I
regard as "home". Be warned,
you will love this magical country,

Take a beach, a nice group of
people, a sunset, campfire, good
music and some drinks, and the
rest is history. I Started
Scubaversity in 1993 and have
grown it to a leading dive Centre
in South Africa today. Diving has
become my home my work and
my lifestyle. I take great pride
ensuring each customer has a
unique experience and service
and value beyond expectation.
Happy customers are my biggest
reward and showing new divers,
especially foreigners around our
country in Africa, is really

Diving to me is all about the
people, meeting folks of different
shapes, sizes, colours and
cultures.
My passion is teaching people to
dive and introducing them to a life
changing event. Diving, the
outdoors, adventure all somehow
seems to make us all equal and
teach us the value of life.

The biggest dive club in South Africa boasting with over 1500 members! Built through passion and dedications, this facility caters for the divers every need. Boasting with a 17m x 12m pool with various levels from 1.2m to 2m ramping to 3m with a maximum depth of 5m. Most unique about this pool is its underwater cave with swim through chimney,

The club house is equipped with a fully stocked shop carrying all the major brands, lecture rooms and a huge entertainment facility complete with pub, pool table etc! We service all brands of equipment and have air & nitrox fills available with top of the range Scubapro school equipment to rent.

Scubaversity has grown to be the biggest club through word of mouth, people who meet people who have experience the passion and dedication of not only the Scubaversity staff but also all its club members!
